The RHS Class of 2026 REF Scholarship Application is now available! Forms may have additional directions.
STEP 1: (Apply your Senior Year for initial scholarship)

Applications can be submitted via US mail: PO Box 1017, Rainier, WA 98576.
The package must include the application, essay and transcript. The envelope must be postmarked on or before April 15, 2026. You will receive acknowledgement via email, if you do not receive within a week contact REF vial email to ensure receipt.

REF recommends the student check to ensure we have received the email. We will acknowledge receipt by email within 24 hours. If you don’t receive an acknowledgement you should check to ensure it was emailed to the correct address. Please send the documents in one email. Do not send them separately.
Late applications will not be accepted. It is the students responsibility to ensure submission of all documents in a timely manner and to ensure receipt, especially if you send via email.
Once the applications have been received and reviewed we will schedule the interviews, usually in early May.
Awarded scholarships will be announced at Senior Awards Night before graduation.
STEP 2: (Request where to send your initial scholarship)

STEP 3: (Consecutive 3 year eligibility must renew application yearly)
Classes 2023 – 2025 Renewals
The 2026 – 2027 Renewal Application is now available. The renewal can be submitted via mail or e-mail with a receipt no later than April 15, 2026 for the academic year 2026-2027. REF scholarship recipients are eligible for three consecutive renewals after the initial award if used by May 1 following your graduation and you do not miss submitting an application every year.

- To be eligible the applicant must have received an REF scholarship the prior year as well as meet all other eligibility requirements
